It may seem a bit odd, but if you think about it, who else is better trained and experienced when it comes to injections into the face than your dentist? That’s what we thought when we thought about diversifying into facial aesthetics. After all, we’ve all had in-depth training in the anatomy of the face and head. We understand how your nerves, muscles, fascia, ligaments, tendons and skin all connect with each other. And we know all about how to inject in such a way as to deliver tiny amounts with very little discomfort for the patient.

It makes sense to come to us for facial aesthetics, especially injectables such as Botox. Botox works by blocking the signals from the nerves to muscles that are habitually contracted to create wrinkles. Block the signal and the muscle gradually relaxes. The trick is to not be so heavy-handed with the Botox that the patient ends up looking more frozen than relaxed. You still want to be able to smile, frown and look surprised when appropriate, after all.
As well as Botox, we also offer dermal fillers, brand name Restalyne. Dermal fillers plump out wrinkles and hollows with hyaluronic acid. This is a natural acid that the body produces to lock moisture into cells. The trouble is that as we age, we produce less of it.
