Dental Veneers

Veneers are micro-thin coverings of a tooth coloured material that are "cemented" to the front surface of your tooth or teeth.  These are usually made from porcelain, ceramic or a composite bonding material.

Patients may opt for this form of treatment for many reasons.   The most common ones are due to; damaged teeth, crooked teeth, gaps or staining.

Damaged teeth can be repaired with a veneer that would look and function just like your normal teeth.   Crooked teeth can be transformed instantly to give you a straight and aligned smile.  Gaps can be closed using veneers to give your smile a more even appearance.  Staining can be covered with veneers to cover any stains that may not successfully improve through teeth whitening.

Your dentist can advise you during consultation if you are suitable for veneers.
